Migrating from your ATS

Switching to Vouch from another applicant tracking system? We bring your candidates with you. Vouch can import your existing candidate data from any ATS as a one-time migration.

This is a migration, not a live sync. Vouch imports your candidates once so you can start in Vouch with your history intact — it does not keep two systems continuously in sync.

Why we do it this way

A one-time import gets you the thing that actually matters — your candidate history, searchable in Vouch — without the brittleness of a two-way connection that silently drifts or breaks. You're moving to Vouch, not running it alongside your old system forever, so a clean import beats an ongoing sync.

When to request a migration

  • You've decided to move to Vouch and want your past candidates available from day one.
  • You have a talent pool in your old ATS worth resurfacing for new roles.
  • You're consolidating — pulling candidates out of a system you're about to shut off.

How it works

ATS migrations are handled by the Vouch team on request — there's no self-serve setup to configure. We've imported from 40+ different systems, so whatever you're coming from, we can almost certainly bring it across.

  1. Request a migration — email support@vouch.careers and tell us which ATS you're moving from.
  2. Share your export — we'll tell you exactly what we need (an export file, or read access to your current system).
  3. We import it — the Vouch team maps and loads your candidates into your workspace.
  4. Review in Vouch — your candidates land in the relevant jobs and your talent pool, ready to work with.

What comes across

Typically we can bring over:

  • Candidate profiles — names and contact details.
  • Resumes / CVs and attached documents.
  • Application and stage history, where the source system exposes it.

The exact fields depend on what your previous ATS can export. We'll confirm the mapping with you before importing.

Good to know. Because it's a one-time import, the cleanest time to migrate is before you go all-in on Vouch — that way your history is already there when you start posting jobs and reviewing candidates. There's no deadline, though; you can request a migration whenever you're ready.
