Edit or remove a user's access

Where: Settings → Access → Your hiring partners → find the client → hover over a user row.

Access isn't set in stone. When an assignment changes hands or a teammate rolls off an account, adjust or revoke their access from the same client card — no need to disconnect the whole client.

  • Edit (pencil icon) — reopens the invite modal pre-filled with their current access. Click Update access to save changes.
  • Remove (delete icon) — removes the user's access to that client.

Edit is the right tool for a scope change — moving someone from Job level to Company level, or adding a newly opened role to their Jobs with access list. Remove is for when a teammate is done with the account entirely. Removing one user's access leaves the agency-to-client connection itself fully intact.

Good to know. Removing a user's access to a client is different from disconnecting the client. Remove here only revokes one teammate; the agency stays connected and everyone else keeps working. To end the whole relationship, use Disconnect on the client card instead — covered in View and manage your clients.

The candidates that teammate sourced don't vanish. They remain attributed to the agency's channels and stay in your agency talent pool. Removing access changes who can log in, not who sourced what.
