About user roles and product access

Vouch provides accounts with a company portal three user types to reflect the different access controls required by employees when managing hiring on Vouch.

Owners

By default, the user account that created a company portal is the owner of that company workspace. Owners have full product, provisioning and billing access. Company accounts must have minimum one Owner but can add and promote as many users to Owner status as they would like to. This is especially helpful if and when hiring team responsibilities are shared jointly among managers or in larger organizations when different teams are managing their own hiring programs.

Admins

Admin rights are nearly identical to Owners, with the exception that Admin users do not have full access to view or change billing and subscription details, or to delete the associated company account. Most companies have one Owner and multiple Admins. Only Owners and Admins can create new job listings or invite other account users.

Editors

Editors have job listing-specific rights access that allows them to help manage the candidate process once a new job listing has been created. By default, they are not able to access all listings but instead to those specifically provided them. Editors are the only user type that are immediately notified of candidates updates for listings. If your company account does not have Editor-users, Admins and Owners are notified.

User access management

Under account access settings, you can add new users by email, either globally or on a per-listing basis, as well as whether the new user is an Owner, Admin or Editor.
