Accept or dismiss a match (talent pool)
Last updated: June 19, 2026
When a candidate is evaluated against a job from the talent pool, they appear as a match in the candidate's Processes panel (under Potential job matches). Think of matches as a holding area: the Assistant has scored the fit, and now you decide who graduates into the pipeline and who you set aside — all without committing anyone prematurely.
From the match's actions bar you can:
- Move into Kanban — add the candidate to that job's pipeline at the first stage.
- Dismiss match — hide the match (it moves to the dismissed view). If you change your mind, the button flips to Accept match to restore it.
A filter on the matches list lets you toggle between Active (non-dismissed) and All.
Good to know. Move into Kanban is a one-way promotion into the live process — do it for the candidates you actually want to pursue. Dismiss match is reversible and non-destructive: it tidies the list without deleting anything, and you can always switch the filter to All and Accept match to bring someone back. Dismissing isn't rejecting — it just clears the shortlist down to the people you're acting on.
