Add an evaluation via a scorecard comment
Last updated: June 19, 2026
The AI gives you a first read — but your team's judgement is what ranks the shortlist. A scorecard comment is how a reviewer scores a candidate against the full scorecard (every qualifier at once) in one pass, and those ratings sit right alongside the AI's.
You can score a candidate against the full scorecard (all qualifiers at once) through a scorecard comment:
- Open the candidate → go to the comment box.
- Switch from New comment to New scorecard.
- For each qualifier, choose a rating and optionally write a note.
- Choose Submit evaluation.
The evaluation appears in the candidate's Evaluation section — your avatar shows at the level you chose for each qualifier — and the comment appears in the activity timeline under Comments.
Good to know. Add a short note with each rating, not just a dot. Months from now — or for a colleague picking up the process — "strong on system design, light on people management" is worth far more than a green dot with no context. Your notes are also part of what the Assistant reads, so good comments make the next AI summary sharper.
A few reviewers beat one. When more than one person scores the same candidate, their avatars stack on each qualifier — a quick visual read on where the panel agrees and where it splits. That's the antidote to a single gut call.
