Job post subscriptions

Last updated: June 19, 2026

Some notifications are too noisy to want for every job — but essential for the handful you're actively running. Job post subscriptions let you opt in per job, so "New candidates" and stage moves reach you for the roles you own and stay quiet for the ones you don't.

Where: notification settings → Job posts you're subscribed to section.

The New candidates for review and Candidate flow changed notifications are gated on which jobs you've opted into. The global setting turns the type on/off; the job list here controls which jobs trigger it.

In the product's words, you "add or remove job posts to control which 'New candidates for review' and 'Candidate stage changes' notifications you receive."

Subscribe to a job

Add a job: choose Add job post → select a job from the dropdown → configure stages.

Per-job settings:

  • New candidates — On/Off.
  • Stage changes — All stages, specific stages, or Off.

Summary shown in the list: e.g. "New candidates: On, Stage changes: 3 stages" or "Off".

Edit — reopen the per-job configuration. Remove — unsubscribe from that job entirely.

You can also configure these per job from the job's own settings page.

Good to know. Stage changes → specific stages is the under-used setting that cuts the most noise. On a busy pipeline you rarely need a ping for every move — subscribe to just the stages where you act (say, Interview and Offer) and skip the early shuffle. For how stages and the pipeline work, see Candidates & pipeline.

Troubleshooting

Subscribed but getting nothing? Two switches must both be on: the New candidates for review / Candidate flow changed type in Notification types (the master switch), and the per-job entry here. If the type is off globally, no job will trigger it.

Getting candidate pings for a role you've handed off? Remove the job from this list to unsubscribe entirely — that's cleaner than turning the whole type off, which would silence your other jobs too.
