What is Vouch

Vouch is recruiting software built for recruiters — recruitment agencies, in-house talent teams, and the hiring managers they work with. It takes a job from a rough brief all the way to a signed hire, with AI handling the busywork so you spend your time on the part that needs a human: the conversations.

What makes it different

A few principles shape everything in the product. They're worth knowing up front, because they explain why Vouch behaves the way it does.

• Humans interview humans. Vouch does not run AI interviews. AI helps you prepare, takes notes during the meeting, and remembers what was said afterward — it never takes your seat.
• AI kills the boring work, not the human. Drafting, screening, scheduling, transcription, summarising, translating — the unglamorous middle of the day.
• Every score shows its reasoning. Recommendations come with a confidence level (High / Medium / Low) and the evidence behind them. When there isn't enough to go on, the result itself says Insufficient data. No black-box "8.5/10".
• You're the decision-maker. You can override anything, and your reasoning is kept.

The five S's of a hire

However you work, a job in Vouch flows through five stages. You'll see these names again across the help center, so it's worth a quick read.

1. Scope — Turn any input (a messy note, a call, an old job ad) into a structured brief, a job ad in any language, sharpened qualifiers, and a per-stage interview plan.
2. Source — Find candidates: your own talent pool first, then vouches, Chrome capture, your career page, and beyond.
3. Shortlist — Evaluate candidates against the job's qualifiers, with reasoning and evidence, and let the Meeting assistant capture your interviews.
4. Select — Move people through your pipeline, schedule interviews, present candidates, and close.
5. Surface — Your candidate-facing surface: career pages, job boards, and an embeddable widget.

The Assistant runs through all of it

Tying the five together is the Assistant — Vouch's AI, which does the boring work at every stage: drafting, screening, scheduling, transcription, summarising, and translating. Underneath sit the fundamentals every team relies on — collaboration (comments and @mentions), tasks, and notifications — so nothing falls through the cracks.

Works in your language. Vouch's interface and the Assistant work in whatever language you and your candidates use — you write a brief in one language and have the ad drafted in another, and candidates can apply in theirs. Set your own preference under Sign in & set up your account.
