The workflow, end to end
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Here's how a single job moves through Vouch from start to finish — the whole loop on one page. Each step links to the detailed how-to, so use this as your map and follow the arrows when you need depth.
When to read this: before your first hire, to see the shape of the whole thing; and any time you're not sure which article covers the step you're on.
- Create the job. Start a new listing, then turn your input into a structured brief, a job ad, qualifiers, and interview stages. → Create a new job listing
- Set up screening. Sharpen the qualifiers the AI and your team will score candidates against, and add any application questions. → Set up qualifiers · Application setup
- Get it in front of people. Publish to your career page and job boards, share a link, or capture candidates with the Chrome extension. → Sourcing & distribution
- Build your shortlist. Candidates land in your pipeline. Evaluate them against the qualifiers — every result comes with reasoning, evidence, and a confidence level — then add your own scorecard and comments. → Candidate evaluation & screening
- Talk to people. Schedule interviews from a booking link, and let the Meeting assistant join to capture the conversation so you can stay present. → Interviews & scheduling · Meeting assistant
- Move them through. Advance, message, and collaborate with your team via comments and @mentions until you've got your hire. → Candidates & pipeline
That's the whole loop: Scope → Source → Shortlist → Select → Surface — with the Assistant doing the busywork at every step.
Good to know. You don't have to run every step for every job. A referral-led hire might skip straight from step 1 to step 4; a pure sourcing play might live mostly in steps 2–3. The loop is a guide, not a gate.
