Getting started as a hiring manager

Last updated: June 19, 2026

You've been invited by a recruiter to help hire. Here's what you can do — no setup required, just sign in and start reviewing.

Start here if: a recruiter added you to one or more jobs and you're here to review candidates and weigh in, not to run the whole pipeline.

  1. Sign in and find the job(s) you've been given access to.
  2. Review candidates the recruiter has shortlisted, with the reasoning and evidence behind each evaluation. → View a vouch as a hiring manager
  3. Score candidates on the scorecard and add comments for the team. → Score a candidate on the scorecard
  4. @mention the recruiter in a comment to ask a question or flag a decision. → @mention a teammate in a comment
  5. Join interviews — the Meeting assistant captures the conversation so you can focus on the person. → Meeting assistant

Good to know. You'll only see the jobs and candidates you've been given access to — that's by design. If a job you expect is missing, ask the recruiter to add you to that listing rather than the whole company.

Troubleshooting

Can't find a job you were told about? Your access is scoped to specific listings, so a job is only visible once the recruiter adds you to it. Ask them to check the scope on your invite under Settings → Access Management.
