Publish a job

Last updated: June 19, 2026

Publishing takes the job live — that's the moment it can be shared, distributed to channels, and start receiving applications and referrals. Nothing is public until you publish.

When to use it. Once the scorecard, content, questions, and stages are where you want them. You can keep editing after publishing, so don't treat it as locking the listing.

You can publish from two places:

  • The Candidate / referrer questions step → Publish (top right). Once published, that button becomes Done and takes you to Job post & sharing.
  • The Job post & sharing tab → Publish position.

Publishing takes the job live so it can be shared and distributed. To take it down again, see Unpublish (deactivate) a job.

Good to know. Publishing only makes the job shareable — it doesn't post it anywhere on its own. The next step is distribution: set up channels under Job post & sharing to put the role in front of your team, social, and job boards. See Sourcing & distribution.
