Notification timing: nudge intervals

Last updated: June 19, 2026

Two notifications are reminders rather than live alerts, so when they fire is up to you. A pre-interview nudge that lands the day before gives you time to prep; a post-interview nudge a few minutes after keeps your scorecard honest while the conversation is fresh.

Pre-interview nudge and Post-interview nudge each have a configurable timing:

  • Click the settings gear icon next to the notification type in the settings table.
  • Enter a number and choose Minutes or Hours.
  • Default: Pre-interview = 1440 min (24 hours before); Post-interview = 30 min (after).

Good to know. The post-interview nudge is the small habit that keeps evaluations from rotting — it reminds you to capture your read while it's fresh, before the next meeting blurs it. Pair it with the Meeting Assistant, which turns the conversation into structured notes you can react to. (Vouch never runs the interview for you — humans interview; the Assistant just handles the prep and the write-up.)

Why minutes for a 24-hour reminder? Timing is stored in a single unit, so a day before is entered as 1440 minutes — or switch the unit to Hours and enter 24. Either reaches the same moment.
