The Notification Center

Last updated: June 19, 2026

The Notification Center is your single feed of everything Vouch wants you to know — read it like an inbox: triage the top, snooze the rest, turn the important ones into tasks.

Where: the bell icon in the left sidebar, near the bottom — next to the language selector and your account menu.

Click the bell to open the Notification Center. A dot on the bell means you have unread notifications; the bell briefly pulses and highlights when a new notification arrives in real time.

Find what you need with tabs

The four tabs split your feed by what you still need to do with each item:

  • Unread — notifications you haven't read yet (excludes snoozed).
  • Snoozed — notifications you've snoozed (not yet read or completed).
  • Tasks — open tasks (not yet completed).
  • All — everything, including read and completed.

Completed tasks and read notifications are automatically deleted after 7 days.

Act on a notification

Each notification carries its own actions, so you can clear or capture it without leaving the feed:

  • Mark as read (✓ icon) — marks one notification as read.
  • Mark all as read — appears on the Unread tab when there are unread items; marks the entire Unread list as read at once.
  • Snooze for 1 hour (clock icon) — hides the notification until one hour from now. It reappears in Snoozed until the hour is up.
  • Convert to task (bookmark icon) — turns the notification into a Task so you can track it to completion.
  • Complete task (✓ icon on tasks) — marks the task done.
  • Click a notification — navigates directly to the relevant candidate, job, or page.

Good to know. Don't mark things read just to clear the dot — if a notification needs a follow-up, Convert to task instead. Marking read makes it disappear in 7 days; a task stays in your Tasks tab until you complete it. Snooze is for "not now, but soon"; a task is for "this needs doing." See Tasks.

Troubleshooting

An item vanished from your feed? Read notifications and completed tasks are removed after 7 days — that's expected. Anything you might need to revisit should be a task, not a read notification. Snoozed items aren't gone; they're waiting in the Snoozed tab until their hour is up.
