Group interviews (multiple interviewers)

Last updated: June 19, 2026

A single interview stage can have more than one interviewer — for a panel where several colleagues meet the candidate together. Use it when the decision genuinely needs more than one voice in the room; for a simple one-on-one, a single interviewer keeps things lighter.

Where: job → EditInterview stages → select a stage → turn on the interview → Interviewers.

How to assign

Use Choose interviewer(s) to add each team member who should take part. Only users who have connected and shared their calendar for this job are selectable — anyone whose calendar isn't connected is shown disabled with a "Calendar not connected." tooltip.

  • One interviewer is marked Host (the event owner). Open the menu on any interviewer to Set as host or Remove.
  • "If empty, the message sender is the interviewer by default." — if you don't pick anyone, whoever sends the stage message becomes the interviewer.

Type of event

As soon as you assign two or more interviewers, a Type of event selector appears:

ModeWhat it does
Group interviewAll assigned interviewers join the same interview together (a panel). The candidate books one slot and everyone is added to the event.
Random (Round robin)Coming soon (disabled) — would automatically assign the candidate to one interviewer from the group.

With Group interview selected, the candidate books a single time and every assigned interviewer is added as a participant on the resulting calendar event.

Good to know. With a panel, the slots a candidate sees are the times everyone on the interviewer list is free — so the more people you add, the scarcer the openings. If a panel looks bookable but never fits, trimming it to the people who truly need to be there is usually the fix.
