Email engagement tracking

Last updated: June 19, 2026

For emails you sent through Vouch, you get a light read on whether they landed and got read — without leaving the timeline. Each message shows:

  • Opens (👁 count) — approximate, due to email privacy protections.
  • Clicks (click count) — links clicked inside the email.

Hover the engagement icons to see the full breakdown ("Engagement from this email").

How to read it

  • Clicks are the stronger signal — a candidate who clicked the scheduling link or job page actually engaged, whereas an "open" can fire (or not) for reasons outside your control.
  • Low opens across a whole batch usually says more about subject lines or send timing than about any one candidate. Treat the numbers as a nudge to follow up, not as proof of interest or disinterest.

Opens are approximate — many email clients block tracking pixels by default. A missing open doesn't mean the email wasn't read, and engagement only shows for emails Vouch sent (an External message you delivered yourself has nothing for Vouch to measure).
