Transcript statuses

Last updated: June 19, 2026

Each transcript carries a status so you can tell at a glance whether notes are on the way, ready, or never came. It's the quickest way to spot a meeting that needs a second look before a debrief.

Once the bot has joined a meeting, the transcript moves through these states:

StatusMeaning
ScheduledMeeting is in the future; bot is set to join
In ProgressMeeting is live; bot is recording
CompletedTranscript and summary are ready
FailedBot failed to join or transcription errored (hover for details)
DisabledBot was toggled off for this meeting

Reading them

  • Scheduled → In Progress → Completed is the happy path. Only Completed transcripts have a finished summary and full transcript to read.
  • Disabled is expected — it just means someone opted that meeting out (see Disable the bot for a specific meeting), not that anything went wrong.

Troubleshooting — Failed. Hover the Failed status for the specific reason. The usual culprits are a meeting with no joinable video link, a call that ended before the bot was admitted, or a host who never let the bot in from a waiting room. None of these can be replayed after the fact — for the next meeting, make sure there's a real video link and that the bot isn't held in a lobby.
