Disable the bot for a specific meeting

Where: in the transcript card for a future meeting.

Watching a calendar is a broad rule; sometimes you want one exception. A salary conversation, a sensitive reference call, a meeting where a candidate has asked not to be recorded — for those, you can keep the calendar watched and simply opt this one meeting out.

If the bot is scheduled to join a specific upcoming meeting but you don't want it there, find the transcript entry (status: Scheduled) and toggle the switch:

• Meeting bot will join meeting → toggle off → Meeting bot will not join meeting

The bot will skip that meeting but remain active for others.

Good to know. This is a per-meeting override, not a change to your calendar rules — every other matching meeting still gets the bot. It only works while the meeting is still in the future (Scheduled); once a call is In Progress or Completed, there's nothing left to opt out of.
