Configure calendar settings

Last updated: June 19, 2026

Where: MeetingsCalendarCalendar settings card → settings gear.

This is where you tune the quality of the slots Vouch offers — who else can book for you, how much breathing room you keep, and how many interviews a day is too many. Sensible defaults are fine to start; come back here when a busy week exposes a rough edge.

Modal title: "Configure default settings"

Workspace sharing

"Control whether coworkers in your company can book on your calendar and which role group is allowed."

  • Allow workspace users to book on my calendar — toggle this on.
  • Who can book on my behalf: Admins and owners only or All company users with roles.

When enabled, eligible teammates can use your booking links to schedule interviews on your behalf. This is the setting that makes agency and coordinator workflows possible — one person can manage a candidate and still land the interview on the right interviewer's calendar.

Default calendar

Choose which connected calendar receives new booking events. Only calendars you have write access to appear in the list — a read-only calendar can still flag conflicts but can't host the event.

Buffer between meetings

  • Before Previous Meeting — minimum free minutes required before the previous meeting before a new slot can be booked.
  • Until Next Meeting — minimum free minutes required before the next meeting.

Both default to 0. Set to 15–30 to give yourself breathing room — time to write up notes, grab water, and arrive to the next call ready instead of flustered.

Max events per day

Limit how many bookings can occur in a single day. Leave empty for no limit. A cap protects interview quality on a hot role: five sharp conversations beat nine rushed ones.

Time slot interval

Controls the spacing between available time slots shown to the candidate.

  • Use default — derived from the link duration (15-min links → 15-min slots; 30-min+ links → 30-min slots).
  • Override with: 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes.

Good to know. Wider intervals make a calendar look tidier and nudge bookings onto the hour and half-hour. Tighter intervals offer more choice but can leave awkward gaps between calls.

Conflict calendars

Vouch checks your connected calendars for existing events before showing a slot as available. You can configure which calendars to check for conflicts in the Conflict calendars panel.

Good to know. This is the payoff for connecting more than one calendar. Add your personal calendar here and a dentist appointment you booked privately will quietly remove that slot from what candidates see — without exposing any detail about it.
