Connect your calendar

Where: MeetingsCalendar.

Connecting your calendar is what makes self-service booking honest: Vouch can only offer slots it knows you're free for, and it can only write the agreed time back to your day if it has write access. One connection powers every booking link and every interview stage.

"Connect your calendar to automatically sync events and manage your availability. Your calendar data is securely stored and only used for scheduling purposes."

Supported providers: Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar.

How to connect

  1. If no calendar is connected, the page shows an empty state: "No calendars connected yet." Choose Connect new calendar (or the connect button that matches your provider).
  2. You're redirected to Google or Microsoft to authorise Vouch.
  3. On success, the calendar appears under Connected calendars with a green ✓ Connected status.

What the status means

StatusWhat it means
ConnectedCalendar is active and syncing
DisconnectedAccess was revoked — reconnect to restore
ErrorSync error — try reconnecting
PendingConnection in progress

Disconnect — click the delete icon next to a connected calendar. Toast confirms "Calendar disconnected successfully."

One account, multiple calendars

You can connect multiple calendars (e.g. a personal Google and a work Outlook), but you choose one as the default calendar where new events are created. Connecting more than one is worth doing even if you only book on one: the extras can act as conflict calendars so Vouch won't offer a slot you're already busy in elsewhere (see Configure calendar settings).

Good to know. Authorise with the same account your interviews live on. If your real calendar is your work Outlook but you connect a personal Google, Vouch will happily book slots that clash with meetings it can't see.

Troubleshooting

Status shows Disconnected or Error. This almost always means the provider revoked Vouch's access — a password change, an admin policy, or an expired grant. Click to reconnect and re-authorise; nothing about your links or stages needs rebuilding.

A booking link warns it's inactive. A link is only as connected as its host. If the host's calendar drops to Disconnected, links and interview stages that rely on it stop working until it's reconnected — see Edit or delete a booking link.
