The words you'll see throughout Vouch and this help center. Skim it once and the rest of the docs read faster — most articles assume these terms.

  • Listing — a job opening you're hiring for.
  • Vouch — a recommendation of a candidate for a job. The person making it is the voucher; the person recommended is the candidate.
  • Candidate — a person in your pipeline or talent pool.
  • Talent pool — your saved candidates, searchable and reusable across jobs.
  • Channel — a way you distribute a job (career page, job board, network link, ad).
  • Career page — your branded page showing your open jobs.
  • Space — a sub-workspace inside your account (a client, department, or sub-company).
  • Stage — where a candidate sits in your hiring pipeline.
  • Qualifier — a single criterion a candidate is evaluated against for a job. An attribute on a scorecard is the same thing: the qualifier candidates are evaluated against.
  • Evaluation / scorecard — a rating of a candidate against the qualifiers, by AI and/or by your team, with reasoning, evidence, and a confidence level.
  • Assistant — Vouch's AI that does the boring work across every stage: drafting, screening, scheduling, transcription, summarising, and translation.
  • Meeting assistant — the feature that sends a transcription bot (the Vouch Transcription Bot) to join your interviews and record, transcribe, and summarise them.
  • Credits (tokens) — what AI features consume from your plan's monthly allowance.

Good to know. A few of these are easy to mix up. A Vouch is the referral itself; a Channel is how a job gets distributed; a Space is where a client or department lives inside your account. When in doubt, the linked article for each term goes deeper.
