Candidate profile: the sections explained
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Open a candidate (from the talent pool, or from a job's Kanban/Table) to see their full profile — the single page that pulls together everything Vouch knows about them: what they said, what your team noted, how they scored, and where they are in every process. This article is the map; each region below has its own deep-dive.
The profile has three parts. (Each gets its own deep-dive article; this is the orientation.)
The activity timeline (the main panel)
A single chronological feed of everything that's happened with the candidate — messages, comments, interviews, and stage changes, newest activity in context. Filter it with the buttons at the top:
- All — everything together.
- 💬 Communications — messages to and from the candidate.
- ✍️ Comments — your team's internal notes (see Add a comment to a candidate).
- 🗓️ Events — interviews and calendar events.
- ⚡️ Process — stage changes and pipeline activity.
Use the filters when the feed gets long: switch to Communications to see only what the candidate has actually heard from you, or Process to trace how they moved.
The "Viewing" panel (beside the timeline)
Switch what you're looking at without leaving the page:
- Overview — a quick summary of the candidate.
- Profile — their full profile (experience, details).
- Processes — the jobs this candidate is in (a candidate can be in more than one).
- Files — their files (CV, transcript, and any uploads).
Evaluation & Application
The candidate's application answers and their AI evaluation against the job's scorecard — the "how do they actually stack up" layer. See Candidate evaluation & screening.
Deep-dives for the timeline, files, comments, and evaluation are separate articles — this one is just the map.
